If you follow me on Instagram, then you already are well aware that I love my athleisure look. Being a wife and mom of two humans and 2 dogs keeps me running around non-stop. So, there is nothing I love more than being comfortable while still looking effortlessly cute and “put together.”

Enter: the legging, the tight, the jegging and any similar form thereof. I have tried pretty much every legging / tight around and I have put them to. the. test with how many times I can put them through the wash before they start to look “eeek.”

These leggings are the best I have found and they don’t break the bank. Plus they come in just about every color!

And these top options are the perfect mix of comfy with a hint of sexy. Again, not breaking the bank 😀

I am a firm believer in mixing high-end, designer with down-home, affordable. Everything can’t be $$$, right? I am also a believer in waiting or saving up for those designer pieces that you just LOVE. I’ve never really been the girl that will buy designer knockoffs. I don’t judge those who do! I just personally feel better when I can save up and purchase the real deal. Something about knowing I’m “faking” my look doesn’t feel right to me. If I can afford it, I’ll buy it. And if I can’t, I’ll just find something else that is similar (but not so similar it would be considered a knockoff) and that I like just as much.

Buuuuut (you knew that was coming, didn’t you?) when I find a statement designer piece for my closet that I absolutely love, I want it in every color so that I can style it a million different ways! Unfortunately, neither my husband nor my wallet would appreciate it very much if I did that more than once. So, when I found these Valentino lookalikes and they actually felt the same as my actual Valentino’s, I did a happy dance around the living room (and I’m pretty sure my husband was secretly doing one in his mind as well) 🙂

And for my girl friends out there who don’t mind the occasional kockoff and/or for those of you who have a 2 year old daughter, like mine, who finds and steals all of your shoes, jewelry and accessories to play dress up: these lookalikes are pretty sweet too!
